Mr. Michael Kastner, Principal, has over 34 years of investment management experience and formerly served as Senior Managing Director of Fixed Income and Risk Management at Sterling Stamos. Previously, Mr. Kastner spent seven years with Deutsche Bank, New York as Head of Taxable Fixed Income Portfolio Management and an Investment Policy Committee Member. While in those roles, he actively managed approximately $10 billion in assets and chaired the Fixed Income Strategy Group. He was also Director of Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange, Americas Region at NatWest-Coutts & Co. Mr. Kastner’s previous experience also includes positions with Société Générale and Chicago Research and Trading. He has been recognized for his work by leading industry publications and is a published author of several articles on fixed income management technique. Mr. Kastner is frequently quoted in leading financial publications, including the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times and has appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg Television and Radio.

Mr. Kastner earned a BA from Towson University and an MBA from George Washington University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Series 3 certified, member of the Socially Responsible Investing Committee of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and a former member of the Educational Advisory Board of the International Securities Market Association, London.

Principal

Mr. Steven Boyd, Principal, was formerly a Managing Director of Fixed Income and Risk Management at Sterling Stamos. He has over 29 years of investment experience and was responsible for the management and oversight of the firm’s fixed income platform via direct investments and the fund of fund platform. In addition, Mr. Boyd was responsible for the execution and oversight of the firm’s macroeconomic hedging activities. Prior to Sterling Stamos, Mr. Boyd worked on the Fixed Income desk of the Private Bank at Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for the management and trading of tax-exempt high-net-worth individual accounts. He was also a member of the Private Bank’s Fixed Income Strategy Group and jointly responsible for short-term structured credit analysis and long-term municipal research. Before Deutsche Bank, Mr. Boyd held positions in the Public Finance Division at UBS and the Municipal Research Department at ABN Amro Securities.

Mr. Boyd received a BS from State University of New York at New Paltz. He earned an MBA from University of Albany, is a CFA charter holder, and is Series 3 certified.

Adam Cohn

Mr. Adam Cohn, Vice President, was formerly a Senior Associate on the Risk Management and Fixed Income Team at Sterling Stamos. He has over 19 years of operations and investment experience and was responsible for middle office activities related to fixed income trading and portfolio hedging as well as cash and margin management. In addition, his responsibilities included sourcing, analyzing, and maintaining relationships with all fixed income managers. Prior to joining Sterling Stamos, Mr. Cohn was a Senior Operations Analyst at Lehman Brothers in the Fixed Income Trade Support Group. During his time at Lehman, Mr. Cohn supported the Emerging Market Trading desk, the Yankee Credit Trading desk, and the Preferred Trading desk.

Mr. Cohn received a BS from Binghamton University with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems.

Ms. Saleemah Ahamed, Chief Compliance Officer.

Saleemah provides the vision and strategic direction for Inline, the compliance consulting firm she founded, and is responsible for ensuring that clients are provided with a high level of service and care which sets Inline apart from the rest.

Saleemah Ahamed’s 25+ years of experience in the financial services industry. She was the co-owner and manager of Adherence, a regulatory compliance consulting firm specializing in providing hands-on compliance services to RIAs, BDs and CPO/CTAs.

Prior to Adherence, Saleemah was at Sterling Stamos Capital Management, a private investment management firm with approximately $7B billion AUM, where she was a Managing Director, supervising legal, compliance and operational matters; and American Express Bank, where she was General Counsel for the Global Investments Products group focusing on alternative investment products.

Prior to going in-house, Saleemah was a securities and M&A attorney with the law firm of Shearman & Sterling. Saleemah has a JD/MBA from Columbia University, graduating as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a BA cum laude from the University of California, San Diego.
